Tournament Entry Fees will be accepted electronically via PayPal / Venmo or cash in the Pro Shop and must be paid prior to your tee time.

The following events will hold a sudden death playoff starting on the first hole to determine the overall gross winner: Two Ball Championship, City Championship, Club Championship, Senior Club Championship, and Ryder Cup. The Two Man Match Play Championship will hold a sudden death playoff to determine the flight winner. Tee Time events will use the tie breaker system last nine, last six, last three, last hole(s). Score Posting

The Pro Shop will post all rounds for Men’s Club Events! All other rounds should be posted via the GHIN app or the GHIN website the day of play. Ask a fellow Men’s Club member or a Golf Shop Professional if you need assistance posting scores. The score posting season in the Northeast is April 1 - November 14.

Violations for not Posting 18 Hole Scores

The first violation is a written warning and we post your score. The second violation is a written warning and we post a penalty score of 71. Any further violations will result in a written membership suspension until you meet with the Board of Directors and Handicap Chairman.

    Local Rules

Play ball down unless otherwise indicated. Rake, Lift, Clean and Place in all sand traps 6”, no penalty. Free Relief from ALL Fences, providing the ball is In-Bounds, NO Line-of-Sight relief. The Men’s Club has adopted Rule E-5 “Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds”. For an additional two penalty strokes this relief option allows the player to drop in a large area between the point where the lost ball is estimated to have come to rest or crossed out of bounds and 2 club lengths into the fairway of the hole being played, no nearer to the hole. This Local Rule cannot be used for an unplayable ball, or for a ball that is known or virtually certain to be in a penalty area. If a provisional ball is played under penalty of “Stroke and Distance” and neither the original ball nor the provisional ball can be found, then the Local Rule may be applied for the provisional ball only.

    Gold Tees

Stanley Men’s Golf Club members whose Age = 70 or higher are eligible to play from the Gold Tees. The change must be made by 6/1 and is for the season. Gold Tee players are not eligible for gross payouts unless there is a separate flight. Your handicap will adjust and can be figured using the Course Handicap Calculator at https://www.usga.org/course-handicap-calculator.html
